Playing on Broadway for a limited season is the multi-talented Harry Connick, Jr who brings his unique homage to composer Cole Porter (1891-1964) to Broadway: A potpourri of song & dance that would make Frank Sinatra and Fred Astaire come back to life if only they could!
This a top-notch production aided by a full piece on-stage orchestra conducted by Andrew Fisher, amazing lighting designs (Ken Billington), a talented dancer (Luke Hawkins), a surprisingly stunning visual back drop and a New Orleans bar-scene side act together along side tasteful tributes to Mr. Porter that HC Jr executes to sheer perfection!
An incredible positive on-stage experience. He is both charming and humble – and did I mention talented?
He sings, tap dances, acts and is a storyteller par excellence that educates as well as entertains for ninety minutes sans intermission.
This celebration of Cole Porter is an elegant Las Vegas style show and a must-see for young and old alike!
* Limited engagement until 29 Dec, 2019.
Nederlander Theatre, New York City.
